Since 1981, Rick Vitek has been involved in the Chicago music scene. He is one of the most in demand drummers in Chicago for commercial recordings, jingles and demo projects. As a teacher and clinician, Rick has shared his wealth of knowledge with students at all levels, from junior high to university, having been an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College in Chicago. Anyone who has had the pleasure of seeing or playing with Rick live knows that he is adept at virtually any musical style, including jazz, rock, funk, fusion and even classical. In addition to his busy Chicago playing schedule, Rick has also toured the country playing U.S.O. shows with the "Lieutenant Dan Band" led by actor Gary Sinise.
